Maayan Rosen, Junior Research Associate

Maayan joined Taylor Research Group (TRG) in March 2020 as a Junior Research Associate. She has extensive knowledge of historical research methods and has worked on several environmental and corporate succession research projects. Maayan has also assisted in developing comprehensive chronologies as part of these research efforts. Prior to joining TRG, Mayan took part in a collaborative project to highlight the social and corporate history of a small town in Maryland during her time as a graduate student.

Professional Research Experience:

  • Researched the corporate succession of various historical entities in a highly industrialized area(Clients: Various Law Firms)

  • Conducted research into potentially responsible parties (PRP) connected to a contaminated industrial property with operations dating back to the late 1800s (Client: Law Firm)

  • Researched corporate succession of a gas company and its relationship with its parent corporation (Client: Law Firm)

  • Collected and analyzed records to learn more about the historical operations and activities that occurred on a Superfund site; assisted in the compilation of a comprehensive chronology (Client: Law Firm)

  • Prepared, submitted, and monitored targeted Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) requests to federal, state, and local agencies on environmental matters (Client: Law Firm)

  • Researched collections held at the Library of Congress, National Archives and Records Administration, and other repositories in the Mid-Atlantic region related to environmental and corporate succession matters (Client: Law Firms)
